Guerlain Terrcotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder Review
**Sipping a fine Riesling, the DemonDiva turns to face the audience, She's on a stage in the theater, and the spotlight fades in. There is a look of nostalgia in her eyes...she speaks...**
Lovelies, this review takes me back! One of the earliest memories is of my dad taking me to Macy's to get my mother a special Christmas, mother's Day, or Anniversary gift. He had only one thing in mind and it was:

Now, I don't know if anyone else can relate with this but if you grew up with your a mother like mine, Seasoned DemonDiva Barbie, then you know she had a signature everything. Makeup, clothes, scent. My mother's scent of choice:
Yup, Mommy was a Diva indeed. I wasn't until years later that I realized how expensive this line was. Well, that is until I went to Sephora one day and walked past the Guerlain display and saw this little beauty staring at me...
I had never really tried out any of Guerlain's products before and when I swatched it on my hand, I fell in love and I fell hard! I had to have it for my very own!...then I saw the price of it was $50, Ugh, yeah I bought it anyway because I'm and addict and I "needed" it for this review! Now ladies and gents, I have milk-chocolate colored skin and it gave me the most wonderful, bronzy glow. It has just the tiniest bit of shimmer in it but nothing overpowering, a must because my skin is ridiculously oily. But all in all, I give this product a B- because I love the look I get but not the price. Here are some pics:
Enjoy & Au revoir!

Dust Bowl!
Hello my little Divatuers!
Sorry I have not posted anything in a while but I have been battling the dreaded yellow dust that comes with the warmth of spring...a.k.a. Pollen
I should be back with a news review and perhaps some make-up tutorials (if you're lucky!) But until then, I am the original Provaca-diva-teur signing off.

Ta-daaa!!!
I really like this mascara because it makes even the skinniest lashes look super thick and fluttery, plus its made with natural ingredients and promotes healthy lash growth but on the downside it dries out faster than I'd like and while I adore the volume, it does nothing in the way of length its best paired with its primer counterpart :) If I have to give this a grade, it'd get a B+. Please make sure to check out Kelly here: http://gouldyloxreviews.blogspot.com/
I can't wait to get this bad boy in the mail! Keep you posted and until then Goodnight DemonDivas!

Honorable Mention!
Hello DemonDiva-lings,
This post will be a quick one but I'm still hype about it! I'm a big reader and I subscribe to some of the most amazing writers in the blog-a-verse but one in particular has a very special place in my heart as my first subscription and that's none other than the "Unicorn Queen" herself, the lovely and talented creator of Lime Crime make-up (drumroll please!!) ................
Doe Deere!
Doe Deere!
Not only is she a 'DemonDiva', but she mentions my twitter response in her recent post, "What's In A Name", where she answers a letter from one of her readers whom is having issues with people pronouncing her name correctly. [The Original DemonDiva crosses her legs and flips her hair thinking about how close that hits to home]
If you guys love creative minided people, DemonDiva-lings who love color and aren't afraid to 'do them, then head over to http://www.doedeereblogazine.com/articles/whats-in-a-name-2 to read the article and then check out the insane makeup she created at http://www.limecrimemakeup.com/ . You will not be disappointed!!
Au Revoir DemonDiva-lings!

To "CHI" or not to "CHI"...
****WARNING!! THE FOLLOWING REVIEW CONTAINS LARGE DOSES OF THE TRUTH. READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED***
Divas...I was saddened today. I had a long, hard day at work and just wanted to come home and relax. One of the ways I unwind is by doing a little something that makes me feel good, like doing my hair and make-up (just cause), watching a funny movie or painting my nails (my personal fave). I chose to do the latter today.
I just recently picked up some new beauties to add to my ever expanding collection and one of them happened to be a CHI ceramic nail lacquer in "Picnic in Central Park". I saw it and fell in love with the minty green color and decided that it would be my signature spring color. Only other DemonDivas would match my swag once I decided to stunt on this color.
I let it chill for a few days before putting on and...and...when I did...
Cons: Formula is watery and not easy to work with, Dries ridiculously slow (Read: 40 mins. and my nails still weren't completely dry). You have to apply at least 3 thin coats to get it to the opacity that matched the bottle color. (DO NOT *REPEAT* DO NOT APPLY THICK COATS OF THIS
Pros: Beautiful range of colors with this brand...umm yeah, thats about it.
I'm still testing this to see how long its going to take to chip but hopes are low for this mission Divas...
In the meantime, here are some pics. DemonDiva signing off.

The Demon's Top 5 Mascaras
A Beauty's Question: "Jeez DemonDiva, you've got this awesome beauty blog thingie now, why haven't you spilled about your favorite Mascaras?!"
DemonDiva's Answer: [Sips tea and mulls the request over] "My dear, you only need but ask!"
Ok ladies, I'm sure you read the title so I know you know where I'm going with this. Now, I'm like alot of women, I want long, luxurious, "come hither" lashes that demand attention and since my hair is naturally fine, my lashes need some..."enhancement" if you will. I believe that no matter what, your look is not complete until you have your lashes together and even if you decide to forgo all other products, mascara is an easy way to take you from Plain Jane to Temptress! So without further adieu, here are my top picks:
1.
Fiberwig Mascara by Imju. To all my ladies who crave volume AND serious length, look no further and this cult fave. This formula uses tiny fibers that cling to your lashes giving them "bump your glasses" length. All you have to do is wiggle the brush at the base of your lashes to add volume and then, to get your length, just pull the wand through the top as many times as you want (in moderation, of course! DemonDiva hates clumps and spidery lashes) and bada-bing, superb length! This is also waterproof BUT all you need to do to remove it is to rub a little hot water on it and the formula comes right off with no damage whatsoever to your natural lashes. Since you're a goddess now, the only thing left to do is strut like you own the sidewalk/office/restaurant/club/Walmart/gym,.... you get it. This is available at Sephora and Sephora.com only.
2.
"Larger Than Life" Volumizing Mascara by Nars. Diva's let us give a special thanks to the folks at Nars cosmetics for answering our prayers! They have married volume and curl into one chic little package, swoon!...Oh and did I mention its deeply pigmented, waterproof, won't smudge or flake and is packed with vitamins??!!! The only downside to this multi-tasker, like all Nars products, is the $25 price tag :-( In my humble opinion, its worth the price but if you don't...more fabulosity for me!
3.
Extra Volume Collagen Mascara by L'Oreal. Now, I know my drugstore Divas are gonna like this one. The price is right and it even out performs some of the most "prestigious" department store mascaras..who knew? If it were to be compared to anything, I'll agree with YouTube Guru/Diva MissJessicaHarlow and say it mimics Lancome Hypnose mascara except your wallet will like it a little more. The formula is build-able so you can go from a "daytime darling" to a "bona fide bombshell" in a matter of moments. There's no point in spending all of your hard earned cash at Bloomie's if CVS is doing it better! Give it a try for about $9 Divas!
4.
Fibre Rich Mascara by MAC. This gives you the length, the whole length and nothing but the length...and a little volume too! Divas, I'm not usually a fan of MAC mascaras...every but every so often they get it right. This mascara uses tiny fibers to lengthen lashes like Fiberwig but its formula is a tiny bit drier and the fibers are a bit finer so its not the instant length gratification but still produces a great result especially when layered over your favorite volumizing mascara. One of my faves, I'm never without my MAC-gic wand!
5.
Texas Lash Mascara by Cargo. Last but most certainly not least, the Queen DemonDiva of all volumizing mascaras! This is not for the weak hearted! This creates "HEY!! LOOK AT THIS BAD B**CH!!" lashes in just ONE coat...yeah, I said it, ONE coat. It was love at first swipe ladies, though I was a little unsure about the huge Diorshow-esque brush but its not nearly as overwhelming as it seems. This goes on without clumps and refuses to smudge even after a full 8 hours slaving away for "the man". All in all, a great buy.
Well Darlings, those are my favorite mascaras to date. I hope you enjoyed this entry [DemonDiva pauses to file nails, then continues] Feel free to ask any questions and leave me comments on other things you'd like me to sound off on. In the meantime, the DemonDiva needs her beauty rest. Ciao!!

4. I call myself "The Demon Diva" because I liked it, and have no affliation with the devil or any demonic entities/practices/religions, etc.
5. I cuss..alot. Don't like it? Don't read it!!
6. I'm fairly kind. I know it may not sound like it from the last bullet point, but I just want to have fun and exchange intelligent ideas with interesting people.
